We are continuing to impact lives we will be celebrating our 5th graduating class (Diane Wade House). Our “I Love Me” Empowerment Groups helps women to redefine themselves while starting over, clarify their values, we promote healthy behaviors that leads to healthy lifestyles which increases their academic, social emotional, and spiritual growth. We also educate them to learn to love and value themselves. We are seeking the community to join us to celebrate the 4 inspiring women by attending to hear how our group has impacted their lives on how they are on their way to advocate and utilize the skills and tools to be empowered for themselves and their families.
Join us Friday for a crafting night that will raise money for WomenFirst to provide transitional housing/clean and sober living home to women who have served in Coffee Creek Correctional Facility.
The paper marbling activity will cost $5.
WomenFirst has been selected as 1 of 3 organizations by Portland Craft Bar for our work being done to support women. Portland Craft Bar provides art parties & craft classes for kids and adults.
This event will be a great opportunity to help provide a safe, clean, and sober living situation as women are working to become successful and productive citizens in our community.

We’re hosting our first energy assistance in collaboration with SEI. If you have any clients or if you know anyone who can benefit from this assistance, please send them our way.
In order for them to be seen on Wednesday, February 20, we are scheduling appointments Tuesday, February 12 and Friday, February 15, 11 am to 5 pm. Appointments should be made in person and are first come first served at our office: 21440 SE Stark St. Gresham, OR at the Bridges to Change building
In order for the person to be seen, these are the documents that they are required to bring with them:
current utility bill (PGE, Pacific Power, NWNG)
income verification for the last 30 days
social security cards for all household members
all household members 18 and over need ID
We are seeking East Portlanders/Gresham residents to serve, but we will not turn anyone away.
I Love Me Women Empowerment Groups are an opportunity for women to come together to acknowledge their strength, recognize they are somebody, empower them to be the women they are and learn to advocate for themselves, and learn to love and value themselves.
