Women’s Foundation of Oregon now accepting applications for Board of Directors

The Women’s Foundation of Oregon (WFO) is now accepting applications for our Board of Directors, and we invite you, or someone in your network, to consider joining us in this next phase of leadership.

Our current Board of Directors is initiating a phased recruitment process, with intention around representation across regions, identities, and lived experience. At this moment, we are especially seeking board members who can bring legally and fiscally sound governance to ensure the long-term health and sustainability of the Foundation. In particular, we welcome applicants with expertise in: 

• Legal (nonprofit law, governance, compliance, employment, contracts, or public policy)

• Investment and Finance (investment strategy, fiduciary oversight, endowment or philanthropic finance)

Board members provide oversight for WFO’s work, including our grantmaking. This is an opportunity to help steward an organization committed to bold systems change and collective liberation.
