Rental Assistance Policy

⚠️ Due to current federal administrative conditions and budget constraints, rental assistance funds are temporarily unavailable.
WomenFirst is committed to supporting community members in maintaining stable housing. Our Rental Assistance Program is designed to provide short-term financial support for individuals at risk of eviction.
Eligibility: Applicants must have successfully completed the Ready to Rent class to be considered for assistance. These classes will re-start in 2026.
Funding Limit: Assistance is limited to a maximum of $1,000 per household.
Previous Assistance: If you have received rental assistance from WomenFirst within the past 12 months, we will work with you to connect to additional rental support resources.
Availability of Funds: Funding is not guaranteed for every request and is subject to availability.
Purpose: All rental assistance is provided with the goal of preventing eviction and promoting housing stability.
